At the bottom is printed the number 14 “Cutting Sugar Canes in Jamaica”. These English posters were printed for children`s educational and story telling tools for the classroom in England. There were at least 75 posters in the series all with different themes or places. This one with the theme of sugar caning in Jamaica.
Depicted are children with parents in the caning fields in rich deep and colourful tones, with a running edge at bottom of candy jar of sweets and sugar bowlss. Perfect for a children’s room or kitchen, a wonderful old illustrated poster. The poster is archivally linen backed and ready for framing. We only have this one.
