This is an original large Schmidts beer poster with a sixties scene of a couple on their bikes, both with a cool six pack of Schmidt's beer in their front wire basket.
Schmidt was the last survivor of Philadelphia's brewing industry, closing down in 1987 after over 125 years and was a point of pride for all Philadelphians. Founded by German immigrant Christian Schmidt in 1860, it remained in the Schmidt family until 1976.
This original poster is printed on a beautiful light glossy paper as seen in photos, linen mounted and is vibrant and colorful. A great piece of brewery history, breweriana. We have two found together and when gone, no more.
Size: 20 x 11.5 inches
