: B-, Linen Mounted, Restored tears. Machine folded in half when produced, as most early advertising posters are, professionally restored, displays beautifully. A rare American piece.

This rare and wonderful and uncommon early sewing machine poster that has a poetic verse of the 1880-90’s era that reads:  "This is the machine that I’ll have! This is the dress made on the machine that I’ll have. This is the girl that run the machine, that made nice dresses for the Queen, on the machine that I’ll have. This is the couple-how happy they seem, because they have got a Domestic machine! The people shout ‘tis well, ’tis wise! twill make a dress of any size-That’s the machine that I’ll have. This is the gent so sharp and keen that married the girl that run the machine, that made the dresses for the Queen, on the the machine that I’ll have."
